IS YOUR TAX ASSESSMENT HIGH?
If you believe it would be difficult to sell your home for what is assessed for then you may be over assessed. According to New York State Law, your tax assessment is deemed to be correct, and the burden to prove otherwise falls to the homeowner. An appraisal by an New York State Certified Appraiser is one of the best ways to prove your over assessment to the assessor.
We Are Here to Help!
All of our appraisers are Certified New York State Appraisers with over 80 years of combined experience. We are the EXPERTS in the local real estate market, and can provide an independent and accurate appraisal for you to bring to the Assessor’s Office to assist in reviewing your assessment for reduction.
Unlike other providers of similar services we charge only for our appraisal fee, any and all savings were you to be awarded an adjustment are yours to keep.
We cannot guarantee that you will see a reduction in your assessment. Our services are not based on whether or not you will receive a reduction. This is one of the reasons that appraisals are held in such high regard; they are an independent analysis.
We collect our fee either on or before the date of inspection. Seven to ten business days are typically required to complete an apprasial report. When completed we can either mail you a hard copy, you can come pick it up a a hardcopy or if you prefer can have a digital copy immediately emailed to you. Our fee does not include our testimony but we would most likely be able to make ourselves available; we would charge on a per hour basis.
Call in February to schedule and receive a discount. Don’t wait until it is too late; Tax Grievance Day is just around the corner.
